DrPH Applicants

The Doctor of Public Health (DrPH) is a fully online advanced degree program that equips students with the skills they need to shape public health programs, policy, and research. After earning a DrPH, professionals are ready to serve as leaders in advancing public health, both locally and globally.

Application Deadline for Scholarship Consideration: January 5, 2025

Final Application Deadline: July 15, 2025

Program Prerequisites

• MPH/MSPH or equivalent master’s degree. Students who have not earned an MPH or MSPH from an accredited institution will be required to complete the following additional coursework:
  • PUBH 700 (1)
  • EPI 530 (4) or EPI 504 (2)
  • BIOS 500 (4)
  • BSHES 540 (3) or another research methods course

• Three years of professional work experience at the time of matriculation. Students may begin the application process once they have acquired two years of full-time work experience

 Application Requirements

• Statement of purpose and objectives (personal statement) 
• Two letters of recommendation 
• Official transcripts from each college-level institution attended 
• The GRE is not required or considered for admission.

For International Applicants

Many countries regulate distance education. We are currently in the process of establishing required agreements that will allow us to consider international applicants for online programs.

Students who are non-U.S. citizens but currently reside in the U.S. on an H1B visa are welcome to apply for admission, so long as the program does not conflict with employment obligations.
