Mock Interview Night
The Mock Interview Event occurs once per semester and allows students to practice their interviewing and networking skills in a supportive environment to gain feedback on a skill of critical importance to their future public health careers. Public health professionals, alumni, and Rollins School of Public Health staff and faculty serve as mock interviewers by conducting two 30-minute interviews and provide valuable feedback upon the conclusion of the interviews. Workshops
The Professional Advancement & Student Experience Center offers numerous educational workshops and day-long seminars for students and alumni throughout the year to help advance professional development. Networking Events
The Professional Advancement & Student Experience Center organizes several networking receptions to provide a convenient and comfortable avenue for students to network with alumni and public health professionals. Career Development Ambassadors
Career Development Ambassadors (CDA) is a volunteer, student-led organization at Rollins that gains programmatic experience assisting the Professional Advancement & Student Experience Center in large events and preparing students in networking, career development and professionalism. Learn More >>
Community Advisory Board
Community Advisory Board (CAB) assists the Professional Advancement & Student Experience Centerin understanding how the needs of employers can be met by the talent, skills, and knowledge of RSPH graduates. This group is composed of representatives from institutions that are the employers, potential employers and practicum preceptors of RSPH students. The board meets at RSPH to discuss the performance of current students and graduates and how training programs can be adjusted to help students better develop competencies that the work environment requires or desires. The CAB shares this information with programs and administrators who use this information in periodic evaluations of their training programs and the revision of its competencies. Learn More >>
