HISTORY
1975 Emory trustees approve the master of community health program
1990 The School of Public Health founded
1994 Rollins gets its name and the Grace Crum Rollins Building opens
1995 James W. Curran is appointed dean of the Rollins School of Public Health
2007 The O. Wayne Rollins Foundation and the Rollins family pledge $50 million to construct the Claudia Nance Rollins Building and renovate the Grace Crum Rollins Building
2010 Claudia Nance Rollins Building opens bringing the Rollins footprint to 330,000 square feet
2012 Council on Education for Public Health extends the school's accreditation through December 2019. Rollins receives a "met" finding on all 27 criteria evaluated.
2019 The O. Wayne Rollins Foundation and Rollins family pledge $65 million for the construction of the R. Randall Rollins Building
2020 Council on Education for Public Health extends the school's accreditation through July 2027 for a seven-year accreditation period—the maximum awarded for schools and programs of public health.
2022 M. Daniele Fallin begins her role as the James W. Curran Dean of Public Health
2022 R. Randall Rollins Building opens, increasing the school's footprint to 500,000 square feet
