The Accelerated MPH (2 semester) program provides an opportunity for students currently enrolled in regionally accredited graduate/professional programs within the U.S. other than Emory University to obtain an MPH in addition to their advanced degree. To ensure the integration of training, students will enroll in the MPH and spend a year (fall and spring semesters) at the Rollins School of Public Health. Students will attend Rollins in concert with the course of study in their initial graduate professional degree program. A student's year of matriculation at Rollins will be coordinated with the initial school administration to ensure all requirements are met.
Students admitted to the program are eligible to transfer 10 credit hours relevant to public health from their initial school. All potential transfer credits will be reviewed and approved by the Rollins program administrator. Once enrolled in the MPH program, students must complete 32-36 credit hours, depending on the MPH concentration during the fall-spring semester sequence. Rollins will award the MPH degree after completion of the master of public health requirements.
