MPH

Students can earn a master of public health degree (MPH) in either health policy or health care management. We also offer a fully online part-time MPH in health care management as well as a 12-month accelerated MPH in health care management

MSPH

The MSPH in health services research is a research-oriented degree tailored to students interested in pursuing careers as policy researchers in public health or health services research.

What's the difference between an MPH and an MSPH in HPM?

 

The MSPH degree is a research-oriented degree tailored to students interested in pursuing careers as policy researchers in public health or health services research. MSPH students are intensively trained in quantitative analysis and data manipulation through SAS and STATA data programming. The MSPH requires 48 hours of coursework, a practicum, and a thesis.

The MPH degree is a professional/practice-based degree that requires 42 credit hours, a practicum, and a capstone. 

PhD

The PhD degree in health services research and health policy is offered through Emory’s Laney Graduate School. This degree provides students with extensive research training.

Dual Degrees

Rollins works in partnership with Emory University graduate schools to give students the opportunity for interdisciplinary studies. Students must apply to and be accepted into each school separately in order to be eligible for a dual degree.
